I feel , you wont probably qualify .I think you have points less than qualifying 67 points. You have to either complete Masters or marry a person with good qualification or study french also .

go to cic website and do self assessment. If you have at least 67 points, which as an MD you most likely will,(´cause you most likely have post graduate qulifications, unless medicine in Indian is an undergrad degree), then try and apply.Besides, with the way things are going these days, you might even finish your masters before you get the IA...you could always add more docs to support your application later.

Dea IDO,
please dont give wrong data. CIC operation manual says that you have qualify points while you apply as well as while they do the initial assessment. I have read cases who applied and got rejected since they had 65 points . They lost the money . Usually the Murphy´s law applies. When you think IA will be very late, they might do it early to calculate the points and then send a rejection letter. So you are looser. Srivasta based on his info doesnt qualify . He gets around 65 points , I think even if he gives full points for English.

Finish your masters and try to have some experience while your education, and also try to find a job in canada ... After all those processes you might get the points...
