Lordotic is just a position or view in which a chest x-ray should be taken. Everey chest x-ray views have its own indictations. Lordotic view is usually useful to see the apices of the lungs. If your doc has advised you to take lordotic view of chest x-ray then he might be suspecting something in your apices of the lung.
