Hi everyone,
I??m a SW applicant in Canada. Just two weeks after recieving my file transfer letter to Newyork, I got my IA from Newyork with interview waiver today.
My timeline (Skilled Worker, Buffalo) is
Applied Mid March, 2005
AOR. 31th March, 2005
----- Waiting ------
File Transfer 17th Feb., 2006
IA 1st March, 2006
One thing strange is they didn´t ask me about background check, RCMP, or Criminal Record Check at all. Also they didn´t ask my bank balance or IELTS. They just ask me Medical Exam and Fee of Landing.
Is there anything wrong?

You are soooo lucky!!
When did you send your first police clearance? Maybe yours hasn´t expired yet..expires after one year. Since you applied mid March; well then it hasn´t exactly been one year yet. What proof of language proficency did you give when you applied?
Is it me or are NY transfers getting it easier? No IELTS, no bank statement etc? Hmmmm? I live in NY and they transfferd me to LA? Go figure..

Dad,
I wasn´t asked for RCMP clearance either. I hadn´t sent it with my application. What I heard (not sure about it) is that for in Canada applicants, they sometimes just do a name check without RCMP clearance procedure.
