Hello again, Well my partner had her interview for her extension to stay in Montreal. The interview mentioned her previous convictions and that she has to get a pardon for each of her convictions. They gave her an extension until July 8 2006. But....... what I want to ask is how long does it take for a pardon and where do we apply for one? My partner is from the UK. Aslo we have plans of getting married in April. Do you think that it will help for pr status or do you think she will still be sent back? We are really sad at the results and don´t know where to turn to at this point. Hoping to hear from you soon
Regards
Terry and Karen

(in reply to: re: interview with immigration canada) if your partner is from the uk then that is where she would apply for the pardon - remember depending on the severity of the offence some only have a limited life and then they come off
