Subject: advice: Australian records
  Hi! guys,

I was in Australia for slightly over six months some 10-12 years ago but not cosidering mentioning this in my application for Candian immigration. The reason is I don´t know how long it will take or what type of hassles lie ahead. In your experiences, is there a real problem in doing so?

If this is too bad a start, I wonder how should one proceed for Australian police records?

thanks for your responses in advance.

Well it took me about 4 months to get my police reports from AFP (Australian police) after about 20 e mails and ten phone calls...

If I were you if your time in Australia will not affect your job experience or education better just forget it and show that time as unemployed in your own country ....(That will also save you some money as well )))

Some time white lies make your process go faster...

Good Luck ...
