Hi all:
Three months after my IELTS request I finally did the test and got my results. I got an overall band score of 9 with the following scores:
Writing - 9
Reading - 8 (Doh!)
Listening - 9
Speaking - 9
CIC Buffalo finally has everything (well, you never know with those buggers). Now I wait for my IA. Here are my deets:
Undergrad student in Canada
Applied (with arranged employment) - Nov 04
AOR - Mar 05
IELTS request - Dec 05
Sent in IELTS results - Mar 06
Waiting for IA

That is a fake result... no body gets 9 from IELTS if you are not a native... give me your applicant number I will tell you ...your correct original scores...

Sorry to burst your bubble themanfromsomewhere but those are my real scores :P I was actually surprised I got an 8 for reading. I thought I got all the answers correct. Oh well, c´est la vie.

Hi Candince, where did you write your IELTS? I took mine recently in Halifax, waiting for my results too. I hope i do as good as you. I do not douth your scorces at all because you are an undergratuate student in Canada, where we do loads of term papers.

Thanks for all the good cheer sent my way fellas. I need it after my incredibly loooong delay. I wrote my IELTS in Toronto (Humber College to be exact) on Feb 25th and got my results on March 14th.
No transfer letter yet but I have an inkling that my file may not be transferred at all. If I was meant to get a transfer letter I would have got it several months ago. Afterall, I did apply in Nov 04.
I just hope they hurry up with my IA. It´s taken a bloody long time and I´m still at that initial stage. People who applied months after me are getting IA, so it´s getting a little depressing at this point.
