Subject: NEW SURVEY IN CIC - sucks!!!!
  The new survey they have in the CIC online- (e-CAS) made me laugh and provided further proof that those in CIC have little gray matter in their brains and look at us, PR applicants, as clowns!!!

The survey is supposed to help them identify those areas which they can improve to serve their clients "better".

WELL, READ THIS:

The first question is:

"What is the the reason for your visit to e-CAS today?

If you choose that you want an update in your APR (Application for Permanent Resident)

The surveyor system replies this, which I copied and pasted here:

"Thank you very much for participating in our study. Based on your response to this first question, we are able to determine that your current usage of e-CAS does not make you eligible to answer this survey."

HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!!!!!

Hi Anonymous,

The basic rule of survey is to get feedback from those users who have been using the system for some considerate time with the use of as much as possible functions.

I took the same survey and I could reach upto the end. Here are some suggestions I made during the survey:

1) Ambiguity about ´Status Message´ should be taken care of. For example, lot of people find their status updates to ´ decision made´ and again going back to ´in process´. I understand that there must be some logic about those messages; but a user is really confused by this.

If possible, message display logic should be described on the ´Status Page´, so lot of confusion and anxiety can be avoided and the system can be really user friendly and meaningful.

2) In response to question -
12. Are there any additional services or information that you would like e-CAS to provide?

It would be a great help if you can provide these information with the ´status result´ page -
1) current processing date of applicant´s visa office
2) detailed meaning of the ´status message (e.g. ´decision made´ than what kind of decision was made - medical, refusal, background check?)´
3) online address change for applicants out of Canada

help me understand something...
why would you want to come to a country where people do not have any grey matter in their brains and have no respect for immigration applicants? (clowns is the word you have chosen). It sounds like a horrible, disrespectful place. Certainly there must be a better place to live than a country that can´t even process a file correctly.

E-Cas would serve best their clients if they will provide a downloadable PDF format of the CAIPS notes instead of flashing boring terms such as "IN PROCESS" & "DECISION MADE". This will not only contribute convenience to all applicants but also money savings.

good idea about the CAIPS but I have a feeling that the notes are a funny twist of Freedom of Information law rather than an Immigration Service. That is why a Canadian citizen has to apply for the notes. The companies that are doing it on behalf of foreign applicants are playing a little game with technicalities in the law. So, I am not sure how your suggestion might work - it would sure be nice if it did.

Canada´s Immigration System SUCKS... BIG TIME.
Those lasy asses sitting in the immigration office centers are doing nothing and making $20/h and up salary rate for it. Trust me. I know. They chat with eachother all day long... they check their personal emails, yahoo messange stuff is the new fashion now. If they grab a file every week... if they feel like it. Then they go through your life and decline and decide about your application.

Canada sucks, all Pakistani, Indian, and other losers here make this froozen country a Shit Can!

If you know what I mean, get the passport and go for a better place to live.

Processing an application shouldn´t take more than a year.... what the hell this department doing with some files in 7-8 years???? Suck my ass if they are processing the file.
