hello,
My PR application is in process. I just did my medicals in feb 2006. I applied under the Federal progam to reside in ontario. Currently I am on a Post graduate work permit in Quebec expiring may 2006. My firm applied and got HRDC approval and CAQ for a years extension of my contract. It is a temporary position. I am going to apply to renew my work permit for another year. Should i say in my application that if my federal PR application goes through, i would like to honor my contract in quebec and then move to ontario after the completion of the assignment in QC. Will it affect my chances in obtaining a renewal of the work permit.

Are you talking about the workpermit application or the PR application?

work permit application. cuz i believe PR application will continue on its own.

I would not mention my plans for the future. Because work permit and temporary visa will have no difference when you recieve premanent status and move to Ontario. It will be different story.
