| Subject: Anybody running with similar timeline ?? |

Hi,
I am in CA and applied to buffalo in Nov.2003 for skilled worker category. I got my recepit in Nov.03 only within 10 days. Later I receivedc another letter saying that my interview is waived and I got my medical done in August 2004. I had sent all requested documents [ like PCCs, W2s, RPRF fees etc.] papers as well in the First week of Sept. 2004. Still waiting for anything. Damn e-client does not show anything...other than "In Process" . \
My questions are
1. if anybody out there with similar timeline as mine and still waiting. Since I was reading the forum,
2. I also have one fear that they might transfer file to different visa office ...like LA in my case ?? Do u think that is possible in mycase..when I also got medical, sent secondary level documents and RPRF to buffalo...do u think that they can transfer my file at this stage to differnt visa office ??
I will appreciate your comments ..especially from people who are having similar timelines ...if they can share their experience so far...

It seems like you have explained my case expept that I got my medical done in July 2004. I did send everything u sent in first week of Sep 2004. My status still shows "In Process". Yes thats true that ur case will get transferred to LA from Buffalo and should you need an interview, they wud request that and u´ll have to go to LA otherwise they will request your passport afer they send u papers. keep me posted as our cases are very similar and good luck. I am in CA too and hoping that I´ll get to hear from them soon.

Hey Raj,
Thanks for the comment. I seriously worry now as I heared that there may be significant delays if ur case gets transferred to different consulates. But Why would they do so. None of my friend in the past had their case shifted to LA before..they got all things completed with buffalo only....can u explain what makes u so sure that my case will be shifted to LA at some time ?? Why do u think so ?
Also, what is ur speculation ....when will they send the passport request...my guess is that I have heared that it takes 1 full year to complete for cases similar to me..so we should be getting passport requests in Nov. 3rd or 4th week.....now if thisa LA transfer thing happen...I think I may get screwed....timewise..

.........And it´s still in process.

Hey Looka Brasi,
Did ur friends reside in CA too and got their cases processed all the way to the end from Buffalo only?? Or they are from east coast???
Well at the same time i am guessing is that if inetrview is waived then there is no point in transferring the case to LA..excpet that visa shud be obtained from LA !!

After medical tests,CIC will take around 5 to 6 months time to send a passport request.
My info:
Medical tests done - March 2004
Passport request - October 2004.
