Hi!
I submitted my application at canadian embassy in Manila last Feb´05 and got a file no. in March 2005. I wonder if how many months/years I wiil wait to received a notification for invertiew or to submit a missing documents. Is it true that the average processing time in Philippines is from 48-63 months ?
Thanks,
Seth_B

(in reply to: Immigration Processing Time - Philippines) After 2 years from now, probably more, check this link from the CIC website

(in reply to: Immigration Processing Time - Philippines) 48-63 months is just about right...cases receiving visa now are applicants of 2001.
if you´re a Filipino, you might want to join this forum:

good luck

(in reply to: Immigration Processing Time - Philippines) You may want to consider getting a CAIPS to know the status of your application.

Immigration Processing Time-Philippines (in reply to: Immigration Processing Time - Philippines) Hi Litok,
I was advised that it isn´t wise to secure a CAIPs right after AOR, with the estimated processing time at 5 years. They told me that I should wait and request for CAIPs only when the 5 year wait is nearly up. They said that they only make a document completeness check, no PPS (Point-of-Paper-Screening) score is available at point of AOR. This is for Manila CIC at least.
Have you experienced otherwise?

(in reply to: Immigration Processing Time - Philippines) You were given the correct advise mango! Best to check the CAIPS only when the 5 year wait is nearly up. The CAIPS I received just before holy week provided no pertinent information; there was not even a points assessment done on our qualifications.

(in reply to: Immigration Processing Time - Philippines) HI! I submitted my application May 2005 and received my AOR after a month. On the AOR says that they will process my application in 60 months..Is this accurate??? Waiting time is sooooo frustrating....
Please advise...
