Subject: postpone application? |

We´ve already received AOR, waiting for IA.
Is it possible to put application on hold, hold the processing, for a few years (four-five)? Basically, we are considering waiting until our young teenage children have reached 18.
Or, would we have to stop the application process, and reapply when we´re more ready?

(in reply to: postpone application?) I think you have to withdraw the application. ouch

(in reply to: postpone application?) Depends on where you applied from. If you applied from anywhere other than the US, Canada, or Europe, it will take you almost 4 or 5 years to finalize everything anyways. I would strongly suggest that you remain in the system. If you get your PR before you´re ready, since you have 1 year to land, just come and land and then go back to your homes until you´re ready.
