Dear all,
Hi, What happens if the applicant loses the document from the immigration officer which indicates that the file was recived (Confirmation Letter). Can I get it again? How? I have no representative. I work on my case. Please heeeeeelp.

Hi,
Do not worry that is not very much important, just wait for the second letter that will come from CIC , when you recieve that second letter the first will lose its importance...
As a person who has got his visa I would say, I have never used my Confirmation Letter, they never asked that at any stage of my process, they do not ask that when you are getting your PRR and they will not ask it when landing in Canada so , forget about it and just wait for a second letter they will send to you, that second letter could be anything they will send you and ask, your medicals, or a missing documents or etc... just make a note of your file number (application number) if you know your number right now, that is ok no worries , if not you will have your number printed on any documents that is sent from CIC...

I highly appreciate your reply Turkishman. I have my file number. I visit e-client service through this number and it is ok.
Would you please tell me which time I have to expect the arravial of a new letter. I submitted on October 2005 and confirmation received in November 2003, but till now nothing new. I think it will take too much time (36 months as they estimate in their letter, which I lost), but usually in your opinion how long will it take them to send another letter?
