Subject: e-client information
Could somebody inform me. I read on some postings that on internet we can see how the processing is going : if the medicals are received, if the interview is waived, etc.

I know that all the documents requested for my spouse are received, including the medical. Nothing is showed on internet. Somebody could tell me if it is normal? When I click on "in process", nothing else appears.

I would very much appreciate your comments.

Thanks in advance.

same problem (in reply to: e-client information)
we have sent documents almost 5 weeks ago and the status on our file still shows that they are waiting. It is making us nervous because the deadline for submission has passed. Did they get them, didn´t they, is the posting system slow, who knows. Of course it is almost impossible to inquire.

My application (skilled worker) only said "In Process" for 18 months even though I did my medicals, RCMP clearance, added more documents etc. back in April 2004. It was not until last week that they added the sentence "Medical results have been received" and yesterday I received my passport request. In other words, I wouldn´t rely much about the e-client status. Which is sad since it´s the only source of information we all cling to.

Thanks a lot Sharon and Me for your information. So, I suppose it "is normal" not to have too much information.

It is normal. The update process online is slow. So if it does not show changed it is OK.
