Subject: How long after IA?
Can anyone tell me a rough estimate of how long it takes after submitting documents and medicals?

What is the shortest possible timeline?

thanks

from what I usually read in forums, standard is 60 days after you complete your medicals/RPRF paymnets/all documents. It will take longer depending on the completeness and info precision of your documents. It will also take longer if you have resided for more than 6 months in multiple countries besides the country of the visa office you apllied, (specially for middle east, russia, muslim countries, countries with non-alphabetical writing like China, Thailand - no offense to all but this is true), longer if you had other complications like divorce, adoptions, criminal charges, closed down previous employers, medical problems. so this could take from 1 month to 1 year, a lot of people have their medicals expired and they still dont have their PPRs. From what I´ve observed, exceeding 6 months is already abnormal and you should order CAIPS by then.
