with regards to filling up application form for spouse.
1. USE OF REPRESENTATIVE-we will not use one so what do we do with the form of using a representative? do we write NOT APPLICABLE on all the blanks?
2. how do i determine the record of landing number? is it the one on the top right or bottom right number?
3. with regards to citizenship date, in my certificate it says 20010301 - cant really recall if it was march 1 2001 or january 3 2001.
4. we have two marriages. first was done in the church but i did not declare my canadian citizenship in our marriage certificate which is why after a few months, we had another wedding (CIVIL) wherein i declared my citizenship as canadian. which date do i place in our sponsorship papers?
5. with regards to my plans as a sponsor to reconnect ties with canada, right now i don´t have a job. i live outside canada. how do i go about this requirement? can i state my plans by writing what we intend to do as a family that if my spouse gets her pr approved, we will all go to canada and establish there but right now i cannot give such proofs such as emplyment cert;rental contracts or proof of any property there?
pls. assist.
thanks.

3) seems like march 1 2001
4) only certificate issued by a civil authority will be recognized. i.e. the civil one, if autentic will do. (made suer teh dates corespond)
5)you cannot condition your return to canada with your wife´s approval. either get back, get a lease on an apartment, get a job offer etc. you must have a valid and concrete intent to return.

(in reply to: pls. assist) it also tends to take longer as cic process is to send your file to a different dept (special units or something..) for further investigation in these cases.....my lawyer actually made a huge error and put my perm residence as being in india when i was only visiting my hubby and even tho i am back from my trip and have sent even more info to cic in order to clarify the situation..the process is taking looooooonngggg
