Myself and my wife landed in Canada, Toronto on 11 Sep 2005 and gave my friends address in Montreal as contact address. I got my PR card but my wife got a mail from Montreal Immigration center requesting her to come for Photo retake on Mar 28 2006. We are currently in US and its very difficult to make it for the appointment as we have only 1 working day time. Is there anyway to re-schedule this appointment ? Can we call somebody and request for re-scheduling the appointment? Does any one have this situation ?

Hi..
I had a friend of mine who had the similar situation. He called them and got the photo shoot rescheduled. What I would advice is when you talk to the immigration guys at Montreal office try avoid telling them you are in US..if possible. You can quote any sort of reason say visiting some relatives in Europe or your home country as a reason for not able to come this time. Why I am saying this as my friend had a bad situation as they came to know abt that he is staying out of Canada and asked him to pick up the PR card also in person at later date...so be cautious. hope this might help

Thanks to Canadian Idol & rar . Today i called to cic from USA i told that we want to reschedule the appointment . They said that it is ok , if you come Any day at 8.45 AM-11.00AM monday-friday on any month no time limit.Thanks for you support.

I think there nothing wrong in my wife´s photos we both took at the same place, i got my PR card but she doesn´t.We took the photos in sears.

Now you will need documents for your wife, to re-enter Canada, you can apply for the same in the NY office; your wife will not be able to re-enter canada without these.
