How do they track the staying period in Canada? For instance, the first time I landed in Canada from US they stamped my passport. But I returned the next day to US and the IO at US port didn´t stamp my passport, he just seen the valid visa and let me in. The next time I entered into Canada after 8 months and back to US within 3 days. This time I got stamping in passport while entering into US.
Does this mean that I have stayed in Canada for 8 months? I have my SIN, PR card etc.. But I have no bank account. How do they track? By number of passport stamps?
