Looking at your english i am wondering if CIC people have lost their minds... I am wating since 2003(new delhi) for my PPR.
Gave them all the papers IELTS score of 8.5..... still waiting for IA :-(

different visa offices have different processing time frames and its not just about the English but the total score. For example a married Nuclear physicist may have a much higher score than a single CNBC newscaster.

new delhi has the 4th worst processing time frame in Asia, Damascus is 1st, HongKong is 2nd, Manila is 3rd.

Having an 8.5 means jack, pal. It takes almost 5 years to get your PPR if you applied to the New Delhi consulate. Boloxis, I don´t think that´s true. Once you have more than 67 poionts, it doesn´t matter if you´re a rocket scientist or a cleaner, you still get processed in the same manner. The reason it´s taking so long is because there are an incredibly large number of applications at New Delhi. Some of the files have been processed, but they´re pretty much waiting in a huge line to get their PPRs.

you´re right Joy, I did not imply that having a good score makes your application faster than standard, although an interview waiver cuts some good months, the visa office location is the big factor to time frames. I was just pointing out to "pal" that english is not the only factor that can make the CIC approve "Steakfur something´s" SW app. Can you share your timeline Ms. Joy, I just had my IA last month.

themanfromsomewhere: You are from nowhere, you are a fart from my ass.

You duds let me tell you one thing, there are no an incredibly large number of applications at New Delhi.
If you dumb heads remember passing was increased to 75 sometime around 2002,hence the applications went down at CIC New Delhi. So the processing time for 2002 applicants should have decreased which didn´t happen on the contrary it increased.
Processing of New Delhi applicant is deliberately slow...

Passing marks were decreased in 2003 applications around that time and after that must have increased.

Hi pal

Would you watch your words? You are going to Canada. Then it´s no wonder that your file is taking so much time.
