its the background check alright, as you can notice in your CAIPS sequence, Xref:P1 - you are a cross referenced applicant. the next criterias already have results (dates and PSDEC:1 - passed paper screeening decision) but the LAST criteria that has data is your BDEC: 18-03-2005, they started checking your background on this date however they did not put any result to it yet like 1-pass, 2-ommitted, under 18, 3-incomplete, 4-failed so it means it is still on-going and will not continute until you have an interview. as you can see your OREQ (other requirements), SELDEC (selection decision), MEDDEC (medical decision) and FINDEC (final decision) is still pending =0, that´s because they encountered a problem on your BDEC so all other assessment on other criterias will automatically be stopped until they have a decision on your background check.

Tell us what is that you suspect to be the problem with your background check and maybe we can help. It has something to do with your work experience docs or transcripts or other domestic problems like adoptions, undeclared children or divorce etc..

I have given all information correctly and also mentioned i have had a divorce and have a issue who is an adult now.But have no contact with them for last 15yrs, as they live in another country.I have two children now and all this is mentioned as i filled my application and i have been living in U.S for the last five years.Recently got my FBI clearence and PCC from india which will take with me on the date of interview .The only thing i can´t figure out what is the reason for my interview.
