My creatinine value was within normal limits, but a bit on the high side... The doctor did not comment on the results. He just sent them to Ottawa, which meant that he thought they were ok. He said that if serum creatinine is too high, he´ll recommend a specialist consult before submitting my medical results.
I took the results to my family doctor and I said that I wanted them repeated (serum creatinine increases with diets rich in proteins).Apparently they should be repeated after at least a month... I´ll probably also see a specialist doctor, just to be 100% sure that everything is ok.
I´m glad that we are on the same timeline! Our cases seem to be very similar! They should be processed in about the same time.
