Try this site - The people who frequent this site are intelligent, helpful and have a lot of knowledge in all avenues of Immigration and procedures... not like the idiots that frequent this site, (you know who you are) who like to start threads that have absolutely no relevance to immigration.

I agree with you Anny. This site used to be very useful for prospective immigrants. However there are few idiots, who don?t have anything better to do but criticize every second poster, have reduced the usefulness of this site. Having said that I still believe this forum is very good learning place for new immigrants.

May I just take a moment to point out that what I was trying say was there was an alternative to this site where all post are relevant to Immigration matters and some prospective immigrants may have found it of some use. I had no intention of insulting anyone except the idiots that post replies on here that have no relevance to immigration matters. I have found this site to be very useful at times but on other occasions found it extremely frustrating with the foul language and attacks on various religions that had no relevance to immigration. I apologise to those who may have been insulted. I will continue to come back if I please, as I said I have found some useful information on occassions.

Scientist, you hit the nail on the head. I used to come to this site daily, but for the past three months or so, it´s become the "Sharon show" and just a place for trolls. The administrators need to keep up with the crap and start deleting ridiculous posts in a timely fashion.

I must confess, the religion/tolerance thread had me more upset than anything I can recall reading on this forum in the last 2 years. Canada is about freedom, tolerance and responsibility. So often, I see people on this forum forget that Canada is more than just a place to earn money. It is also a place that 32 million people call home. No one world view is ever going to dictate Canadian society- and it is best that those wishing to avail themselves of Canadian residency understand that right up front.
When it becomes entertainment to ridicule its citizens and its traditions my line in the sand gets crossed. It would not be tolerated anywhere else and I really do not believe Canada needs to tolerate it either. If you do not like it - don´t come.
As for this forum - it is as good as what we make it. It is as good as the people who post here. It will be a sad loss if the only people left willing to participate are trolls and losers.
