Subject: IA is OK without IELTS-Do I need to take the exam? |

I would like to know if I need to go through the IELTS exam even though my IA is okay. In the application documents I submitted, I only justified my Proof of English Language proficiency with a lengthy letter proving the points I claim & I included all the necessary documents I could think of to support this claim. In fact, my interview was also waived even though I did not take the IELTS exam. My family members & I had already undergone the medical exam a couple of months ago. We also paid for all the fees necessary including the ROLF as per instruction of the Canadian Embassy. I guess we´re just waiting for the background check or if I´m fortunate, the PPR - unless of course if they ask for additional documents. Just to reiterate, do I still need to take the IELTS exam notwithstanding the abovementioned info/events?
Your comments/input will be highly appreciated.

(in reply to: IA is OK without IELTS-Do I need to take the exam?) you already passed IA man, of course there´s no need for IELTS, unless they found out something is wrong with your background check that is linked with your english capability.
