| Subject: URGENT - Please help - PR and WorkPermit Query |

Hi,
I went to Canada in 2004 for a year. My stay got extended in Canada and I received a new work-permit as my old work-Permit was expired, which is valid till Oct 2006. But as I was in Canada only, so couldn?t (didn?t) get my visa stamped. Then I came back to India 4 months back. But now I need visa to reenter Canada, even though I have a valid work-permit.
I had applied for PR in Canada last year while I was in Canada.
I am applying for Visa from India now. There is a Question (number 19->e), which says ?Applied for any Canadian Visas? (e.g. PR, student, worker, temporary resident (visitor), temporary resident permit?). I?m confused what should I mention in that? I can say yes for this Question and give my WorkPermit number (old as well the current valid), but should I also give my PR file number as well?
Would that have any effect on my visa application
If I don?t tell my file number would that have any effect ? I don?t want to give the file number as my employes doesn?t know about my PR application and I don?t
want to let them know as well.
Please suggest?!

I had the same experienced as you, just that I did it in Indonesian Embassy. The lady at the embassy told me that I only need to check the temporary resident (visitor), but stated the reason was to work and had my work permit copied and submitted to her. I don´t need to give my PR application number or anything.

what do you mean by "The lady at the embassy told me that I only need to check the temporary resident (visitor)" ?? what do they mean by temporary resident (visitor) ? is it visitor visa ? Though in application form they´re explicitly asaking for PR as well.

I writing to enquire that i logged my PR file for Canada through WWICS in Feb 10. I filled PR form with my wife detail. My data or File has gone to Nova Scotia, But now my wife does not want to go with me.I have paid 550 CAD as processing fee of my wife.So i want to know may i show my funds only? plz reply

I got skilled mirgration visa in october 2011 at that time i have included my wife and kid in the application ,when passport request came for stamp .I could not send there passport to london office .only my passport was sent to visa office .it got stamped and i landed in calgary jan 19 2012 .i stayed here upto oct 2012 and went back .now i am back in sep 2013 .I want to bring my wife and kid here .
my wife and kid has done medical ,i have paid there fee also .they are approved in my application .only passport not stamped at that time
what should i do .
