Hello ,
My US LC got approved recently and I am in process of filing I140.
I am on 8th year H1 extension,
Last week I got a passport request and want to know the following .
Immigrant VISA stamping on my Passport , Will it create any problem for my GC processing and Geting further 9th, 10th year H1 extension ??
I do not want to mess around with my GC as I was waiting for this for past 3 years, Also I am not at the stage where I can backout from canadian PR becasue I still don´t have GC.
Please advice me as soon as possible.

When did u file your LC can you please give your time line for GC .

My LC was filed in Dec 2003 and got the approval Mar2006.

I don´t think it will create any problems. I am in the
same boat as yours, if I were you I will first get the Canadian PR and then wait for US GC. Don´t give up something in anticipation of something you have not yet received.

Quick question , Do you have your US GC now??
Can you please explan more about your situation , Did any one asked you as to why do you have Canadian PR ? during H1 extension or during your green card processes.
