Hello,everone
is there anyone here with medical done in Apr.2005 still waiting for PPR?
I applied at end of July.2004 under SW to Buffalo from Canada, got interview waiver and medical done in Apr.2005, still waiting for PPR.
from the last letter received from Buffalo Oct.2005, seems like my Immigration Officer is L.Holliday. does the speed of processing depend on the spesific Immigration Officer?
It would be highly appreciated if anyone with similar experiece is willing to share your activites on application.

replies on 3 email requests to Buffalo for last 7 months stated:
"We have requested background information from other government offices(s). Unfortunately, we cannot respond to requests for the status of your application before this information is received."
And PPR came in fact in 6 months after the medical expiration date. Looks like Background checking determines everything. Hope this info helps

hey Anxious,
I am just responding because of L.holiday cause when i applied she was handling my case,i got rejected.
AOR Nov 2004
Rejected in july 2005,
She is pretty fast in rejecting the file and in completing case too.
So buddy have patience..evrything will be allright.

I share exactly the same timeline as time of application and medicals. since last october my ecas says medicals received. last week caips says next bfd date is june 06 with lisa holliday. i do not know what else to do. what background check they are doing since 3 years the only countries i have been is india and canada.

You mean you did not re-do your medicals? How come the PPR after 6 months from expiration?
