Subject: German Student
  Hi all
First of all, I want to thank for all the people participating in this awesome forum!!

This is my case:
I´m a german citizen.
I visited canada 2 times prior to starting a college program.
I started a 3yr coop program in september 2003. i completed 3 semesters, 2 coop terms. then i changed my program to 2 yrs. I graduated in dec 2005. Now I´m working under the post-graduation work permit and a contract for the Government of Ontario. My work permit is going to expire in January 2007. Are there any ways I can continue my work after January 2007? I am planning to apply for skilled worker in May (i don´t have 1yr of work experience yet). I´m pretty sure that berlin office won´t process my application before January 2007. This means, that I will lose my job. I really don´t want to leave this job, because it´s always an honour to work for the government. Are there any advantages for government employees?

Thanks for all your replies

apply for PR and ask yor employer to get you approved job offer. that will expedite your process.

I´m here if you have any questions
