Subject: F1 Visa and Landing |

Hi, Friends, one more question. My wife is holding F1 Visa in the US. Can she come back to the US after landing in Canada without bothering US Consulate? Maybe she has to come back within the same day? If she has to apply for F1 visa again in Canada to enter the US, does anybody have experience with it, and tell us whether it is easy or not?
Thanks a lot!

(in reply to: F1 Visa and Landing) Yes, if she comes back within 30 days her duration of status in the US is automatically valid for travel to US and Mexico. She need not apply for a visa.
Look up at INS rules for foreign students. She can also verify it with the office of international students at her University.
