Hi everyone:
I can´t believe I am finally conveying good news on this forum. I received my IA this evening. I was asked to do my medicals, no additional documents or interview required.
I booked my medical appointment for this Friday at a cost of $196 which includes X-rays and mailing costs. Not sure if it includes tax. The results will be mailed out in 15 days. They mail a bunch of results in the same package so I won´t be given a tracking number but I can call the doctor´s office to confirm if the results have reached Ottawa.
That´s it for now. I´m super excited. Here is my case history:
Applied: Nov 04
AOR: Mar 05
IELTS Request: Dec 05
IELTS results submitted: Mar 06
IA (with interview waiver): April 3, 06 (the forms are dated Mar 31)
Medical test scheduled: April 7, 06

Sorry, I´m a student in Canada and applied to Buffalo. Yes it was fast considering they received my IELTS scores just 2 weeks prior to sending out my IA.
