| Subject: Can I get Health card if i stay canada for 1 day ? |
Hi Friends,
If i land to canada for First Time and stay there for one day, and apply there for Health card, and then leave from Canada to US, can i get Health card for me after 3 months ?
Or I have to stay to Canada itself to get Health card ?

health insurance is for residents. you need to be in the country for 90 days before you qualify.

I don´t think it´s fair to everyone who works and pay into the system for you try and exploit it. You either want to live here and endure all the struggles and reap all the benefits or your stay out and seek you own medical insurance.
