I applied in March 2003 and just received my passport request. In other words, it took 18 months and my e-client status still says "In Process"...

When i was applied in Buffalo, that time there was one year backlog,so i received my initial qualifying results in Feb 2004.

Landing fee paid - August 2004
Passport request - October 2004.

Total Time frame - 18 months.

What you state is ridiculous. With that kind of time frame you´d just be sitting doing nothing about your life in anticiaption of visa and loose on a lot of oppertunities in life. I mean this is like 5 years.... I feel sorry really. And with situations changing which they are bound to - it may take even longer. CIC should do something about that.

I suggest you get in touch with CIC and see why it is taking that long as on web-site from India it should take 18-24 months at max. 12 months for Reciept and 33 for IA is too long......

This processing time frame has been stated on CIC website .You are totally right with this Time Frame one has to loose many opportunities. THis is what is bothering me. I mean we dont know what to do.Our Future is ?.

CIC does not entertain anyone personally .I think u will agree no one will anwer the question WHY?
