Subject: working in the US after Canadian citizenship |
s it possible to work in the US after you become a citizen of Canada without H1 visa. Will somebody who has passed the USMLE be allowed to do residency in US after he becomes a Canadian citzen without the J1 por Hi visa as per the NAFTA agreement.

(in reply to: working in the US after Canadian citizenship) Thanks.
It says Physicians eligible for teaching and research positions only. What if you have ECFMG registration after passing the Step 1 2 and 3 . Will you be eligible for residency as per NAFTA or will a H1 or J1 be nessecary.
