| Subject: Should I file now or wait till my baby is born |

I am in US and thinking of filing immigration to Canada. My question is that should I go ahead and file now or wait till my baby is born in couple of months. I am not a US citizen but my baby will be. At this point its just me and my wife...can I add the other dependents later... please suggest....

not enough information.
under what class are you planning to immigrate?
are either you or your wife a Canadian Citizen?
what relation are the ´other dependents´?

No matter your situation, as long as you are not a Canadian citizen, you are better off applying now and later include your baby when he/she is born. Time is of a factor here. If the baby is coming in 4 months you shorten your application by that length of time

I am going to file under skilled worker class. My wife and I are not not a canadian or US citizen and there are no other dependents.

Good. Do that now. I applied in 2004 in London, UK just immediately after I got married. My wife is now expecting a baby in June. I am awaiting for medicals but will go ahead with the medicals and skip the x-ray for the wife. When the baby is born, I will send the additonal docs (baby cert and wife´s x-ray). I am not waiting for the baby to be born first. The earlier the better.
Another factor too is that, you can have your baby in canada if you can afford the medical bill so that you don´t have to fill any application for a dependent since your child would be a canadian citizen.

hey guys i am in need i don´t no more english but i can talk little bit i am a inlegal in canada and i had my child boy baby now in 2006 how can i get my baby to be a canadain citizen.
