| Subject: reapplying after rejection |

hi all, my skilled worker application was one time rejected because i got less marks in IELTS. now, because of my wife´s education, i have sufficient points to claim for skilled worker catrgory.
My question is,
Will it take the same time even though they had completed my initial assessment (IA) previously when I was rejected?
or should it take the less time?
I applied in january 27th, 2006 and got my AOR jst after applying, 6th Feb,2006.
Please share your views.

hi friend....
as far as my knowldge is concern it will take less time. because one of friend happened same thing, in fact he landed with in 8month. don´t worry.
but i want to know one thing from you.
during your intial rejection of file.
1)what was your total point?
2)how much you got marks in IELTS exam (listening,reading,writing & speaking)?

my IELTS overall band was 7.
listening 7
speaking 8
writing 6.5
reading 6.5.
I got IA letter in which they mentioned my scores in all the components and and why they rejected me. it was two page leter with all the explaination letter. you may surprise but i also got call from them asking if still i can provide some additional documents. but at that time they hadn´t menioned about their decision.
I am already in canada on study/work permit and I have applied to Buffalo, NY.

That´s not IA though! IA is something saying that" paper screen already finished", give you medical form, tell you if you need interview
