Has anyone worked or heard about the Law Offices of Colin R. Singer. What is their reputation, they and some other websites say they are one of the best. Any comments...????

Thanks

Dear Raza,
Actually i didn´t hear about them, but if you like to apply through an immigration consultant,i have applied with DALMA IMMIGRATION CNSULTANTS.
They have helped many of our relatives and friends who are already Canadians now.
Actually i was surprised with the great help i got to prepare all my documents to apply even before paying for them.
So at least sombody has tried them.
Good Luck dear.

Raza,

I am currently using Colin.r Singer. I applied back in Feb 05 through them. They were very helpful with helping me fill the forms and how to get the highest points based on my circumstances. The only thing which I found disappointing was their estimated time to get the IA (they estimated 12 months). I phone them every month and they are very patient with me. I am happy with what they have done so far.

The information in the CIC offical site is so clear that even a kid can fill in forms if you still need a lawyer to fill in such forms please do not come Canada, you might need another lawyer to apply for jobs, fill in Tax form, or fill school application forms... who knows you might need a lawyer to apply for a new passaport from your own embassy ...

I was stupid enough to employ Colin R Singer. They said I would know within a year, in that time I moved to Canada, got married filled in my own spousal application and got residence. Then 3 years later I was approved and the first time I heard from Colin R Singer was when they asked for the final payment for the visa I didn´t end up needing, I said I´ll pay half and he threatened me in all sorts of ways. Fill the forms in yourself.

Wow, you guys are mean!! First of all, some people who go to school and work full time don´t have time to sit down and fill out a million forms for immigration. Not only that but I was on a student visa that was set to expire and needed a new visa FAST because I am married and didn´t want to have to leave Canada. I used Colin R. Singer´s offices and am more than satisfied!! I have had many friends who have also applied for permanent residency, on their own, many of them way earlier than me, and I received mine at least 2 months before the next person. I know a girl who hs been waiting about two years for hers (she applied herself) and I got mine in 4 months. I would say the money is worth it.
