| Subject: Medicals about to expire but still 'in process'. |

Hello,
My medicals are about to expire in less than a month.I have sent an e mail to Buffalo asking about the status of my application but it has been almost 2 weeks and no reply yet.What should I do?I am hoping that I will certainly hear something before my medicals expire.Does anyone have any suggestions?

breathing very deeply helps,...... so come down dude..... I´ve seen cases where CIC contact people right before the expiration date a week or so before.... so take it easy and it will happen very soon for you!

My suggestion would be to send another e-mail asking not only about your medicals, but aboit the status of your case and approximate time-line, it might help. We usually got replies in 4 days - one week. Are you in-Canada applicant?
May be order the CAIPS to see on what stage of the process you are?
In general, medicals are processes when Background checking is complete.
In our case (which is quite long in average because of extended background checking for some reasons(??????)) we got PPR after the 18 month since our medicals were done.

Based on my experience as a consultant in immi cases, it pretty comon to be asked to re-do the medicals, and actually it´s not a problem for them to re-do the medicals at all. The most important thin is that certain stages should go under normal processing regardless of whether you are on a hurry, your mediclas gonna expire soon, ...etc
My advice is to be patient. Patient like a camel in the desert. Asking too much about your case may put you under a question mark.
