(in reply to: has anyone got the quebec slection certificate) most of the time, one gets QSC without an interview if your first language is french. Also other things that might work in your favor is if you have attented a French-based institution or attended school or an university in quebec. They will also look at your work experience in Quebec. The more you have participated in francophone activities (it will be easier for you to assimilate into the quebec culture), the greater are your chances to obtain QSC without interview. This is to my knowlege, but some others can shed some light on this topic too..

(in reply to: has anyone got the quebec slection certificate) Although I didn´t go to university in Quebec, I was school in Ontario (earned my undergrad and Master´s and studied translation in both) and even with submitting a certificate of French/English bilingualism, I was required to attend a selection interview in New York City. I personally know one other person who applied for a CSQ - he also had to do an interview.
I submitted my application for PR last month and am now waiting. Hopefully my CSQ will speed up the process. If you speak French, go for the CSQ. It´s the best way to get to Canada relatively quickly. Good luck to all of you.
