Subject: 4 EXPERTS.. ADVICEPLEASE !
OK ,..... I mean they send me a letter (AUGUST 2005)
These are the details of what I´ve done so far:

I sent all the documents and payments requested from the embassy in August 2005,

MEDICAL EXAMS
RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE
NEW PROOF OF FUNDS
ORIGINAL PASSPORTS

According to the information brochure, this new part of the process was supposed to take a maximum period of 6 months, and yet I haven´t received any news from teh embassy since feb 20-2006, when I was informed that my file was still on the final stage. When i sent and email asking about the passport
This is normal ?
So now what?
How much time i have to wait !!!
This is the end of the process ??
Its ok if i go to the embassy and ask ????? or i just have to wait ???
8 MONTHS NOW
Im in PERU .

THANKS

Probably not a good idea to go to the embassy. It usually takes about a year after you send your medicals to get your passport request to stamp the PR visa. Just be patient; you will probably get it within another 3 or 4 months.

Really, they asked for your Passport already together with the other documents? Im not sure if this is normal for the Visa office in Peru but it is kinda abnormal, and you said you sent your medical exams by yourself? In other countries, the DMP will send the medical results to the Visa office. I think you should order CAIPS dude.

Hi, I´m from Peru too. Could you tell me some details about how the canadian embassy in Peru works? Did you pass the interview? How was it?

Thanks. My email is silherre@hotmail.com
