Subject: All Fees Included with Application? |

Are there any benefits to sending the Right of Permanent Residence fee WITH the application instead of later when it is requested? I could let it sit and acrue interest in my bank account for a year if there is no apparent benefit. Would it speed up the process at all? Would it look good to have all fees paid when my application is being considered?

(in reply to: All Fees Included with Application?) No there´s no benefit. You can send it when you´re asked to.

Better to not send RPRF (in reply to: All Fees Included with Application?) See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/press/speech-2006/distinction.html
The new Minister has annouced on April 20th 2006 that they are cutting the fee in half.
Budget copming out real soon so it really looks like a done deal.

(in reply to: All Fees Included with Application?) Well, i guess it´s about how much faster you want to land. If you have that already paid for, then that´s another few weeks you don´t have to wait for them to process that part of the application.
At 1.5% interest in most bank accounts, your 975.00 will not gain you much in terms of income.
I guess it´s a personal choice. I don´t think it will sway any immigration officer´s opinion at all.
