After how many years of being a resident can you apply for a canadian citizenship ? How long takes this process ? And, it is true that canadians citizenships can work and live in United States without visa, just with their passports ?

Citizenship ---3 years of PR to be eligible

No visa required for travel to the US (limited time though)

To work you need a TN-1 visa (only for Canadian citizens) this falls under the NAFTA agreement, renewable every year for a unlimited time.

Look up TN-1 visa in google

I think breaks are allowed. Three years of the total 4 years before applying for citizenship have to spent in Canada.
