| Subject: How long after medical recvd in Buffalo, NY |

Hi All,
Glad CIC maintained their system today and my status still shows "In Process" but after clicking on the link, I found out that they have added another line to the description which pops up saying that "We started processing ur application on xxxx.Medical results have been recevied"
Does anyone have an idea that how long will it take from now on? My interview was waived and I am giving the details of file:
Category: Skilled Worker
Processing Office: Buffalo, NY
Applied : Nov 2003
AOR : Nov 2003
IA: June 2004
Medical Sent: July 2004
Supporting docs including FBI, PCC, ROLF : Sep 2004 (First week)
I am based in California. Any thoughts?

Here is my timelines:
Applied from San Francisco: Sep.2003
Processed: 10/01/2003
IA: 05/2004
Medical sent:06/2004
Police certificate and other requested decuments and fees sent:08/2004
E-Client changed to "Medical results have been received":08/2004
No news since then.

you guys are so lucky! I wish I cud say the same for mine! I have the same timeline.. except that I applied in canada and the police clearance here takes more than 150 days to process. I read in other discussion forums that most people get their PP request 2-3 weeks frm the date their eclient changes to decision made... keep me posted! Good luck, yo!

May be you should contact buffalo for the status of your application because u said ur eclient status changed to medicals received back in August and it´s been quite a couple of weeks now .....

Actually, it´s been couple of months since then.
...but how would you contact Bufffalo? As I understand,
you can only contact them via fax. In the past, when I had several questions regarding my application process,
I faxed them my questions at lease on three occasions. I did not receive anything back. If you know of any other means, please let me know.

First the earlier response was from JM and not me. Anyway, I was reading on immigration portal forum and found out that the guy had the same timeline as mine and he got his status changed on Oct 25 (Medical results have been recvd ) and he got passport request on Oct 26, 2004..the very next day of changing ur status...after hearing ur story I am dis-appointed as I thought i might be receiving passport request soon...may be tomorrow :-) I wish i would !!
Did u get ur interview waived?? Did u send ur landing fees??

Sorry for the confusion and disappointment!
Yes, my interview had been waived. I sent them a cashier´s
check for landing fee along with other documents via overnight mail. They were received on Aug.12. A week ago,
I found out that the check had been cashed on Aug.18, 6 days later.

How did u find out that cashier´s check was cashed?? I also sent them my docs by overnight mail and I also sent cashier´s check with it ...how do u really find out if cashier´s check has been encashed as money gets out of ur account right away the moment u request cashier´s check?
Its surprising that they have not gottent back to u yet. Good luck and i promise that i´ll keep everyone posted as i underatns that its extremely emotionally draining...!!

Here is the story. I had bought my check in Canadian $,
from this money exchange institution in downtown San Francisco,called "AFEX". A week ago, I called them to find out about the status of the check. They asked me for
Date and amount of the check and let me know that the check was cashed on Aug.18. (very good service!).

Thanks immigrant for the detailed info. I´ll try calling my financial institution (my bank) to see if they can update me on that.

i did my medical 2 months ago and the eclient doesn;t say medical received? my app. is skilled worker from buffalo. How long did it take you all to get the posting on the status change after the medical?thx

Hi John,
It took me almost 3 months after medical. I got my medical done in mid of July 2004 and saw my status changed yesterday (Octorber 28,2004)!!
