Subject: Metting CIC staff (Mr Denis pls reply)
I had been waiting for since June 2001 for my immigration. So far I did medical twice and submitted FBI, bank statements thrice. Recently I tried to contact CIC staff by fax at Buffalo, NY but of use.
Should I go to Buffalo to meet them in person. Is that advisable, will that have ay negative impact on my application. Please reply.

TIA,
Sam.

An ounce of prevention... (in reply to: Metting CIC staff (Mr Denis pls reply))
Hi Sam.

Sorry, but I can not advise you on this matter, because I do not know anything about your case. However, I can tell you that going to Buffalo will not harm your application; but, will likely not benefit it either. Perhaps you would be better off requesting your CAIPS file notes...

I always tell people that it is best to have your application reviewed by a professional prior to its submission, so as to avoid these types of delays. However, as in all cases where the applicant wants help after submitting the application, it is very time-consuming (and costly) for a professional to learn all that is required to advise a nearly three-year old file. In most cases, it costs twice as much to cure the problems that could have been prevented with a little foresight.

So, perhaps others can learn a thing or two from you - specifically, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Good luck.

Sincerely,
Dennis Caul

Hello Dennis,
Thanks for your reply.
Just to cover up and correct past mistakes- is it possible to submit another application when previous application is in process like I stated earlier.
Again thanks for your reply.

Sam.

Two applications at once? (in reply to: Metting CIC staff (Mr Denis pls reply))
Hi Sam.

Unfortunately, you would have to withdraw your first application (or be refused) before submitting a second application.

Sincerely,
