Subject: Can my patner drop out during the process? |
I wondering what would happen if my patner decide to stay in the middle of the process.... can he just drop out or it would damage my aplication too?
Thanks

(in reply to: Can my patner drop out during the process?) we are going to assume this is a skilled worker application. If you are the principle applicant and do not need your partners point - it will not damage the application but they need to formally remove themselves from the file.
If they are the principle applicant -and they withdraw - your file is dead.

(in reply to: Can my patner drop out during the process?) Thank you. I´ll be the principal applicant. It´s goot to know. When you say they need to formally , what you mean?

(in reply to: Can my patner drop out during the process?) send a letter to CIC that requests they be removed from the application.
If you want to have them join you at a later date, they may wish to remain on the application and land - but return home.
other option is to keep them listed and sponsor them at a later date.
Not sure what the reason is for their change of mind... so it is hard to cover all the options.
