Subject: Schedule 1-Background/Declaration
I have received a request to fill out the caption form. Does it mean that my application for an job arrangement in Canada is approved?

Your kind advice on this matter is highly appreciated.

Thanks

Joanne

probably means your application forms are incomplete, did you gave out this form before? This is a required IMM008 form.

Dear Boloxis.

Thanks for your reply.

I haven´t given this form before.

I submitted my application in 2001 and had interview in LA in 2003. Interview failed but asked to hire Canada Job Network to arrange employment in order to furthur process my applicaiton. CJN arranged employment to me in Nov 2003 and submitted the related document to HRDC. Unfortunately CJN ceased operation in last year. And then I sent a letter to LA to ask how many point I obtained.

Last month, the immigration section asked me to submit the caption form within two months.

Why they ask me to submit the form almost three years after my interview.

Please advice

Thanks

I´m not sure what are the official forms they required back in 2001, but currently this form "Schedule 1" is 1 of the 5 required forms for PR application. I think CIC is helping you try to find ways to increase your points, they are asking you to update this form since they think you did something new (hopefully) in the past 5 years since you applied, like additional good jobs, addtional degrees, etc. In countries where processing times take half a decade (like Hongkong and Manila) they usually ask people to update ALL their forms and some docs after a 4 year period of processing timeline.

Just update this form, try to be as honest as possible (read the last page carefully) and I hope you can add some productive years in your background history.

Dear Boloxis,

I am studing a master degree and obtained 48 credit. It´s a night time study. I plan to complete the master degree in the year of 2007. I try to update the post secondary education peroid from 06 2005 to Now but it does not accept letter. Should I fill in a future year 2007 or the today date 05 2006. In the field "Type of certificate or diploma issued" I should type "Master Degree" or "Gained 48 Credit".

Please advice.

Thank you very much.

Joanne
