I have gotten an interview at the US consulate in Canada to switch my H1B to an F1 as I will be starting school in the US in the Fall. However, I have a PENDING Canadian PR application at the Buffalo office (AOR June 2005).
I am going to apply for a Canadian visit visa to go visit the US consulate in Canada. Will the Detroit office have any problem with me applying for the visit visa? I can provide any documentation they want.....employment letter (current) in the US (with a Fortune 200 company), I-20 from my future school, appointment letter from the US consulate, a letter from the attorney that will be representing me at the US consulate, bank statements, taxes, pay stubs....etc.
