| Subject: transfer of immigration application |

I applied to canadian immigration under "skilled worker class" category. I live in new york and applied at buffalo. I applied in May of 2003, and haven´t heard from them yet. I am thinking of relocating to pakistan. My question is: If i relocate to pakistan will my application also transfer to consulate in karachi, pakistan; and can I give my interview there. Second question is how much longer is it going to take before i get canadian immigration. Third question (if you are still reading) once i get my canadian immigration i should be able to go to my country feeling confortable that i will be able to return to canada, correct?

Hi Ahmed.
What do you mean "applied in May of 2003, and haven?t heard from them yet"??? Have you not received an AOR??? That is supposed to arrive within three months.

A - Yes

A: Impossible to say, but I would suspect atleast two more years (depending on the quality of your application at its time of submission). Note: File transfers typically add three months (or more) of processing delay.

A - Yes, provided you maintain your residency requirements.

Dear Friends,
Today I found a new message in my cic page saying ((We transferred your application to the Warsaw office on June 16, 2009. The Warsaw office may contact you.)).
What’s that mean? And why they transfer my file to Warsaw?, is that good or bad thing?
