i got the working holiday visa and for canada basically i am a software engg. now i want to know that ,can i get a job in any software company,

Yes. It´s basically a 1 year open work permit. Have you received the actual permit? I assume you got a confirmation letter from embassy. If so, you will get the permit at the port of entry. (e.g. immigration office at airport.) the permit should not have any limitation like location or employer, unless you will work in some educational or medical industries. However, sometimes the officer make a mistake on the expiry or specify some area name under the location. So, be sure to check what´s on the permit right away!

One more thing, don´t ever say you have a job confirmation by an employer in Canada (in case you do). That´s against the principle of this WH program and may put you in some trouble.

YOu can´t extend the WHP, by the way. So it´s one year and you have to leave, unless you can convince an employer you can do a job no Canadian can, which is pretty tricky!
