Subject: Interview Requested (Sharing my TimeLine)
  Hi guys,

I´ve a letter from Buffalo to say that I need and interview yet the time is not set and they will let me know later. My questions are:

1. How long does it take from interview notice to actual interview time notice?
2. If I do not have additional information beside what I submitted initially, do I still need to bring some common documents? like transcript, bank statement and so on?
3. What are typical interview questions? Why would an applicant to be asked for an interview?

My timeline:

2005/3 LOA
2005/7 Letter of english test request
2005/8 Take english test and submit
2006/5 Interview notice

I have the same timeline, but my file got transferred to NY. From this post I have seen interview call can take anywhere between 6-12 months.

1. How long does it take from interview notice to actual interview time notice?
Ans: 6-12 months

2. If I do not have additional information beside what I submitted initially, do I still need to bring some common documents? like transcript, bank statement and so on?
Ans: send what they ask for, if you don´t have one, write a letter and expain the situation

3. What are typical interview questions? Why would an applicant to be asked for an interview?
Ans: There are no typical question, just know your application, remember all the facts, where did you work, even five years ago, you worked ? you remember ? right ?

Good luck don´t worry, your timeline is normal.

WTF: if you don´t know what you talking about, don´s say a word, just listen, you can learn from this forum a lot.
