Hey Guys,
I received my PPR yesterday. Hoho...Thanks so much for everyone on this forum! Here is my timeline:
Applied Dec 2004
AOR Mar 2005
TRAs to N.Y. Jan 2006
IA Feb 2006
ME Mar 2006
PPR May 2006
Please allow me to ask one more question p:)
I applied as a single skilled worker. And I am thinking of sponsoring my boyfriend as common law partner/spouse after I completed my landing process. Am I have to tell CIC that I have a BF living with me right now? If I didn´t update this info (I don´t want to compliate my case), is it going to affect my future inland sponsorship application?
Any input is greatly appreciated!

(in reply to: Yohoo! Got my PPR finally) Wow Pockyla! That´s faaantastic. Congratulations. I´m really happy for you. I´m incredibly jealous too :( Yup New York is definitely much faster than all the other missions.
Not too sure about your question regarding common-law sponsorship. Maybe somebody else will help you out but CONGRATULATIONS!

(in reply to: Yohoo! Got my PPR finally) Congratulations !!!!
Yes, I agree NY is heaven and they are processing applications very fast, I almost have the same timeline as yours in NY, I hope to get it soon
myself.
Answer to your questions: When I filled in application I don´t remember that it was necessary to provide information about your common law parter, you have
to provide info only if you are married; or if you are applying for your
common law parter as a dependent. If I were you I will not bother telling CIC about it since your application has already been finalized. Move to canada and then sponser your parter. THis IS MY VIEW AND I HOPE IT IS CORRECT, OTHER EXPERTS ON THIS FORUM PLEASE HELP WITH YOUR ADVICE.
Thanks,
Brian

(in reply to: Yohoo! Got my PPR finally) Thanks everybody! You guys are supportive!!!
Brian, you should get yours very soon:) And we are thinking the exactly same way. But I Just want to make sure it is 100% legitimate. By the way, my boyfriend and I are currently living in Canada.
As for the medical, mine received by Ottawa on March 14th.
She, my e-cas changed into "medical result received" just a few days before I got my ppr letter.
Any input is welcome!!! Thanks.

(in reply to: Yohoo! Got my PPR finally) Does CIC return my original application back or just my passport? Since they want me to provide a prepaid, self addressed return Express Mail envelope, I need to know what size of the envelope I should buy. Thanks!
