Subject: POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE
Do I need to obtain a Police Clearance Certificate at the filing the application? or I can send the certificate later (the consulate here may take upto 45 days to issue the certificate). Will that effect the time of processing??

Thanks

if you are in India the PCC takes only one day and is provided by the regional passport office.

Go ahead and file without PCC. They will ask for PCC and FBI etc. at the time of IA (in my case). In any case, there is a good chance that the certificate you provide at the time of applying will be expired by the time of your IA and you will need to submit the same again.

Hi All,

Can anyone help me with the format of the PCC for Canadian Immigration. The PCC I have recieved mentions my name and my residence address. However, it does not contain my passport number and the reason for obtaining it. Are these information required in the document.

Can anyone provide more information about the PCC format.

Thanks
Shahida
