Verified that the fees is encashed today. 2 days ago, I got email from cosulate that they are in receipt of my documents, will send further instructions once results of medical exam are received. It is 35 days since I have received IA with medical forms. It´s 27 days since I attended medicals. DMP told that they have sent the reports to Ottawa within first 2 weeks of the medical exam.
Can I expect something in a week? I mean PPR?

Same timeline as yours. I dont expect to hear from them (for PPR) till September at the earliest. My file is in Buffalo.

Anonymous, you don´t get PPR immediately after CIC receives your medicals. From what I have read in these immigration website for the past year, it can take anywhere from 4 months to 1 year after your medicals are completed for you to get your PPR.

Your statements may be true if the application is either being processed at Buffalo or application AORs dated before 2004.
Now that the US files are being trasferred to other offices in US, it is quicker.
I have seen the cases on this forum and yogi799.com that they have received PPRs just in 1 - 2 months timeframe.
Mine is transferred to Seattle, I am expecting my PPR sooner.

You will see that those people are getting the PPRs had applied early in 2004, or people who had their files transferred to New York. Look at all the Mar 2005 AORs that haven´t even received their IA yet. Yogi isn´t a very accurate tool of measurement for the PPR handout rates. It doesn´t let you see whether the people that applied were provincial nominees, whom are processed faster, or if they hold HRDSC confirmation, or are spousal applicants.

Mine is Skill W cat, no hrdc conf. My AOR is Mar 2005, I have IA and also done Medicals and sent the additional docs. I aggree, yogi799 may not be accurate in all instances, but I think the processing is faster than it used to since the files are being trasfer to different locations to share the load.
